What is available ?

 

Google has quite some self paced training material available, with free access.

They offer on a regular base also a certification program with the possibility to pass certification exams for free.

The training material consists of short training video's. Each training video is followed by a short multiple choice test. For the e-marketing course, you will be required to study a subset of one of those courses. More detail below.

Studyguide for the e-marketing course:

For this course, you need to study a part of the overview course: "Digital Analytics Fundamentals"  
 

Taking this full training would take you about 4 hours. You are certainly invited to do this (You won’t escape Google Analytics in your future job…). The subset selection you are required to look at for this e-marketing course will take you about 2 hours for a first showing and about 1 hour for the activities. The training consists of a combination of video material and small activities. What do you need to study for the exam ? If you can solve the activities on the analyticsacademy website below each video, you are well prepared for the exam. Do this for unit 2 till 4.4. You can skip the activities as of unit 4.5, although you should still watch video 4.5 and 5.1. The rest of the material of units 5 and 6 you can skip, but instead you watch an overview video about consulting results on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gESFEtIx1A

 

Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ)

 

I would highly recommend that when you have time the coming period, (e.g. when just having graduated) to take the trouble to study analytics in detail and pass the official Google qualification exam, the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) test.
