4 Reach Tab

Reach

The statistics under the tab reach will provide you figures on the performance of your posts: How many people could actually see your posts?  As previously, you can pick a specific range here for all these reports.

A split is made between organic and paid reach. Organic means that by natural ways the posts where displayed.

In many of those reports you can “benchmark” against older data. Example below benchmarking organic reach against a previous period which was actually performing better (although the difference is small)

You could also benchmark “Paid reach” in a similar way:

Scroll further down and you will get more info on Interactions in the “Likes, Comments, and Shares” graph.

If somebody reacts, likes your post or shares something, this will become visible in his network. Your update hopefully spreads as an oil slic, increasing your reach and the visibility of your page --- all excellent for your business and products and services your sell. This will eventually result in conversions: That’s why it’s important to measure which posts do work well, which ones don’t work and to tune the way you post based on this information.

Scroll down further, and you will find a graph on people quitting you: Hide, Report & Spam and Unlikes. If this one has quite some spikes, you should worry. This type of negative feedback can have quite a negative impact on your edgerank !

If fans do not appreciate your posts or page, one of 4 actions could be taken by them:

  • Hide one post
  • Hide all your posts
  • Report your post, or, even worse, report your page as sp
  • "unlike” what was liked

Typical reasons could be that you are really spamming, or you exaggerate asking to share and like your posts. Spam is quite irritating on social media people want to use only for sharing with friends & family – so you will get a punishment

If you scroll further down, you can check how many people did see the activity on your page. Again, you can differentiate between organic and paid reach.
